Customer Service Manager

I started my career in insurance in 1983 at IPS in Bemidji, MN as a customer service rep in personal lines. Several years later I was offered the chance to move into commercial lines (business) department as a customer service rep and was promoted to a supervisory position a few years after that. IPS was purchased by Bank Forward in 2007 and I assisted with our transition into a multi location business.

I currently hold the title of Customer Service Manager which requires me to juggle several roles – that of supervisor, operations team member, and customer service agent.

I enjoy working for an organization that prides itself on the foundations of taking good care of our customers as well as employees. Building and maintaining relationships is highly valued here and I try hard to do this every day. Insurance can be confusing and troubling to consumers and acting as a trusted advisor provides a great value. Fulfilling this important role in our community means that our customers are not just customers, they are friends, family, and neighbors and we are committed to their success.
