Forward Foundation Supports Valley City Hockey Club’s Learn To Skate Program

Valley City, ND – Josh Kasowski, Market President of Bank Forward Valley City, is pleased to announce a donation has been made to the Valley City Hockey Club through the Forward Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to enhance the lives of children in communities served by Bank Forward, Insure Forward, Tax Forward, and Invest Forward. This donation will be used to purchase 34 pairs of youth hockey skates that will be utilized in the Learn to Skate program.

“We are excited to support this program,” Kasowski says. “While these young athletes are learning the fundamentals of proper skating they are also improving their physical fitness and being taught the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. Those are valuable lessons that will benefit these young athletes beyond the ice rink.”

Forward Foundation, a stand-alone entity established in 2012, is administered by employees of Bank Forward. Bank Forward operates under one charter with twelve bank offices, eleven insurance agencies and two tax offices with locations in North Dakota and Minnesota. The bank offers a complete line of personal and commercial financial, insurance, and tax services.
